Software Engineer (Frontend)

This is what energises you

As a Software Engineer at IXON, you will be an integral part of one of our Agile Scrum teams, contributing to sprint goals and collaborating closely with several stakeholders. Your responsibilities will encompass all aspects of our Cloud platform, from feature development to technical debt reduction, ensuring scalability and maintainability in the long run. As we aim to have multidisciplinary teams, we want you to be able to work on Frontend, but also support Q&A and Backend related development tasks. Key responsibilities include:

• Building a scalable cloud solution, creating a well-integrated, well-documented stack of cloud standardized services and relevant tooling using the mantra: ‘prepare and design once, use often’;

• Developing features based on the product backlog, and writing maintainable and clean code, shipped with tests;

• Taking part of the Three Amigo sessions, in which we use Example Mapping to work closely with the Product Owner;

• Taking ownership of technical tooling for observability, testing, deployment, and configuration;

• Being part of one of our Scrum teams and working closely with other developers and DevOps engineers.

This makes you successful 

You possess a true commitment to excellence in every aspect of your work. While you are specialized in Frontend development, you also have the skills to engage in Backend tasks or are willing to learn the necessary skills. Your ability to effectively collaborate within Agile Scrum teams, communicate ideas, and adapt to evolving requirements ensures timely delivery of high-quality solutions. In addition it would also be nice if you identify with the following points:

• At least 2 years of experience in Frontend Development (Angular, Typescript, Vue.JS, Svelte);

• Willing to work on Backend related tasks;

• Knowledge about Playwright, Docker, Python, Rust or databases (ClickHouse/MariaDB/Redis/MongoDB/…) is considered as a plus;

• Fluent in English (so you can communicate with your team);

• Living within driving distance of Belgrade;

• You are willing to travel occasionally to our headquarters in the Netherlands (2-5 times per year).
